Care
Sterling silver darkens with wear and air. On most Chrome Hearts pieces the blackened recesses are part of the design, so care is mostly about keeping raised surfaces bright without stripping the dark.
Wearing
Take pieces off before swimming, the gym or cleaning: chlorine and household chemicals speed up tarnish. Put them on after perfume and lotion.
Cleaning
Polish raised surfaces lightly with a soft silver cloth. Avoid dips and abrasive pastes, which reach into recesses and remove the blackened finish.
Storing
Keep each piece dry, in its own pouch, so chains do not tangle and surfaces do not scratch one another.
